The Cat’s nests are situated in Yenne in the county of Savoie in the Rhône valley. Nearby you can admire the Natura 2000 Lagneux marshes and the Jongieux vineyards. Located on one and a half hecares (3.7 acres) of land, the park consists of a lake, a small island, a garden and many wooded mounds. Take advantage of the area to see the birds and wildlife. It’s an ideal place to recharge your batteries whilst contemplating the nature all around you. As soon as the warm weather arrives you can use the natural swimming pool. Built according to the model of an ecological pool, you will have pure soft water thanks to plant filtration. Directly facing south in front of the lake the 3 nests for 4 persons each provide a large deck with stunning views of the dent du Chat mountain.
The Marsh Warbler chalet (Rousserolle Verderolle) is designed for families with young children. This cottage has a cabin/room for two children (ideally from 3 to 8 year’s old), a spacious parents’ room and interior fixtures that children will adore. In front of the chalet there is a small slide ont the wooden deck and there is a sheltered area under the fir trees. This is our first nest to be operational and is our model for the interior photos shown above.
For the Spotted Woodpecker (Pic Epeiche) and Purple Heron (Héron Pourpré) nests, two rooms of equal size can house 4 people : couples, friends or families with grown‐up children.
